Frequently Asked Questions
Please check these three common issues:
1. Missing Driver: You must install the CH340 USB driver. We provide it as a separate download on this page (it is not included in the main software ZIP). Once installed, select the correct COM port in the PC software.
2. Wrong Cable: Ensure you are using a USB data cable, not just a charging cable. (Note: The USB cable included with devices purchased directly from our store is fully data-capable).
3. Incorrect Interface Setting: Press “SHIFT” then “0” on your device panel to enter the menu, and verify that the communication interface is set to “USB”, not “WiFi”.
Currently, the official desktop software provided on this download page only supports Windows (Windows 7 to Windows 11). If you are using macOS or Linux, we recommend running the Windows software via a Virtual Machine (like Parallels or VirtualBox).
You do not need to download standalone firmware files. To upgrade, simply download and install the latest Windows PC software from this page. Connect your power supply via USB, launch the software, and navigate to the “Firmware Update” section. The software will automatically fetch and install the latest firmware from our servers.
This is normal. The device is currently in listening mode. It is waiting for your phone to send the WiFi credentials. Leave the power supply on this screen, open the Riden mobile app, navigate to “Network Distribution”, and enter your 2.4GHz WiFi password. The app will automatically broadcast the network details to the power supply, and the IP address will populate.
No, your device is not frozen. This is a built-in safety feature. When the power supply is actively connected to the PC software or mobile app, the physical keypad is automatically locked to prevent dangerous conflicts between remote commands and manual inputs. To regain manual control, simply click “Disconnect” in the software or close the app. The keypad will automatically unlock after 3 seconds. (Please note: it is intentionally designed so that the keypad CANNOT be unlocked manually while the software/app connection is still active).
